This Sony PCG-7192L battery is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista & Windows 7. However, if you have updated to the Windows 10 operating system, you may have difficulties with the Sony battery management software in your laptop which will have been replaced by Microsoft Windows power management software. This may prevent the battery management software in your laptop from correctly displaying the correct battery status. If your battery software is working correctly now, you should have no trouble with our battery. However, If you are already having this issue, new batteries will not solve this issue. You may fix this issue by finding an update for your specific laptop at the Sony Vaio Support Center.
