If you have an External charging station for Fujitsu batteries, you will need the battery adapter kit in order to hold your spare batteries in the correct upright position to properly align the charging copper pins to the corresponding copper slots on the battery pack. There are 2 adapters sold per box to match the 2 charging terminals locating on the charging station.

Here is a practical battery tech tip when hot swapping computer batteries: Your laptop will not be able to recharge a computer battery unless the battery is present inside the laptop during a cold boot start-up. This is when the laptop identifies that a new battery has been installed and electronic handshaking takes place.
You can "hot swap" a fully charged battery from your charger into the laptop without rebooting to save time. Just remember, the laptop wont recharge that battery when you plug in the laptop to it's power cord until the computer is rebooted or restarted.
