This is a brand new High Capacity VG93N type battery for the Dell Precision 15 3520 and Precision 15 3530 series of laptops. There is also a lower capacity battery produced that has a lower capacity of 68 Whr. Both batteries will work but this high capacity has a larger capacity so it will run 30% longer before it needs to be recharged. This battery replaces the Dell original battery part number VG93N, WFWKK and NYP5G.
This VG93N battery is rated 92Wh and 11.1 volts and will normally last 7 - 13 hours on a full charge depending on your power settings and demands on the laptops power requirements. In addition, the 3530 model uses more power than the 3520 model. If you have the the 3530 your battery run time will be closer to 7-8 hours on a full charge. You can get longer battery life by dimming your screen and closing unused programs.
